Provides comprehensive legal assistance to help develop a secure parenting plan and navigate the process for obtaining Temporary Orders. Services are available to survivors of domestic violence, parents who need a parenting plan, individuals who have not yet filed anything in court, and participants who meet financial eligibility requirements *Please note: Attorneys do not represent clients in court.

If a forensic interview is requested by law enforcement for a child ages 3 - 17 who is a victim of abuse, you will be interviewed by a Child Interview Specialist.
Provides an array of advocacy and case management services to Nooksack children and families involving child welfare, domestic violence, sexual assault, and elder abuse. Programs include Indian Child Welfare Program and Independent Living, Extended Foster Care, Tl’ils Ta’á’altha Program, Men and Boys Outreach and Advocacy Program, Supervised Visitation and Safe Exchange Program, and Child Protection Team.

A child-friendly center located in Bellingham, WA. The CAC provides a place in which a team of trained professionals interview and support children who may have been abused.
Advocacy counseling is available to clients who want to meet one-on-one with an advocacy counselor. Sessions are available on a walk-in or scheduled basis during business hours. These sessions are strength and empowerment-based and include emotional support, on-going safety planning, identifying coping skills, problem solving, information about the effects of domestic violence and sexual assault, and referrals to other community resources.
