Trade in old medical equipment that is in decent shape but needs a few repairs in exchange for new equipment of equal or lesser cost. Other equipment that is not medical or mobility related, such as a laptop, may be accepted for a trade in specialty cases.
Low-cost repairs for power wheelchairs, bed lifts, hospital beds, walkers, scooters, and more. Addition of cosmetic or specialty parts to your equipment is also available, including but not limited to Joysticks for amputees, 'Sip-and-puffs', headrests, etc.
The Veteran and Community Mobility Center can haul heavy and cumbersome medical equipment for little to no cost.
Free at-home COVID-19 tests are available at the Whatcom County Health and Community Services office. Use the vending machine in the parking lot.

Assistive technology lending library and demonstration center, located in Woodring College of Education (WCE) on the campus of Western Washington University. The E-ATRC houses hundreds of low to high tech support tools.
Provides wheelchair lending and leasing for people that may only need equipment for a short time or cannot afford it otherwise. Rent-to-own may be available in specialty cases.
