Residents from the greater Ferndale community can rent plots for a low cost and grow their own food. Plots rent for $20 for the season plus a $10 refundable cleaning deposit. Scholarships are available for those who need assistance with the cost. The garden season is from April 1st to September 30th, email early to be considered for the waitlist.

Program participants can take advantage of 200 square feet of garden space to grow their own food and flowers. Registration for new gardeners begins in January each year on a first-come-first-served basis. Returning gardeners who want the same plots are given priority to register for their same plots starting in November for the following year.
